texting.tattoo

Text every client who’s visited your tattoo shop.

Clients sign your waiver form on their phone and can opt in for texting as they sign. Turn on texting for the touch-up check-in, the review ask and your offers, and they go out from your shop’s own local number.

You can rewrite each text in your dashboard.

How it works

4 steps
  1. 1

Clients opt in as they sign

Clients sign your waiver form on their phone. Each one who opts in for texting and gives a mobile number can get your texts.

Keep another waiver system? Let me know and I'll set up texting with it.

  2. 2

    Register your shop for texting

In your dashboard: your shop’s legal name, your EIN and your address. Every business that texts its customers has to be approved first, and that usually takes a few days.

No EIN? Pick Sole proprietor and add your own mobile.

  3. 3

Choose what goes out by text

In your dashboard, turn on texting for the touch-up check-in, the review ask or an offer, each with its own switch. Clients who opted in for texting and gave a mobile number get it by text, and everyone else gets it by email.

  4. 4

Your texts go from your own number

A local number for your shop comes with your registration. A client who replies STOP gets no more texts, and any other reply comes to you by email.

What it costs

Texting comes with Pro.

Your waivers.tattoo account
$50 a year or $5 a month
Your waiver form, your client list and 1,000 emails a month to your clients.
Pro, on top of it
$150 a year or $15 a month
Texting to every client who said yes, from your own number, and 5,000 emails a month to your clients.
Each text is 1.5¢ from your texting balance, and a long one counts as 2 or more. The balance starts with $5 once your shop is approved.

Your first 10 waivers are free. Then it's $200 a year or $20 a month for both, in one checkout from your dashboard, or $50 a year for your waiver form alone.

Straight answers

Who gets a text?

Each client who opted in for texting on your waiver form and gave a mobile number. Everyone else gets the email, as before.

Texting your clients

Do my clients have to sign your waiver form?

No. If your clients sign with another waiver system, let me know and I'll set up texting with it.

Can a client stop the texts?

Yes. Every text ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” A client who replies STOP gets no more texts from your shop, and their emails keep coming.

Why does my shop have to register?

Every business that texts its customers has to be approved first. You fill in the form once in your dashboard, and we file the registration for you. Approval usually takes a few days.

How registration works

What if my shop has no EIN?

Register as yourself: pick “Sole proprietor, no EIN” and add your own mobile number.

When do texts go out?

Only from 8am to 9pm on your shop’s clock, and inside your state’s own hours where it sets them. A client gets at most 1 text a day from your shop.
